Dáil na nÓg Regional Events 2019
Dáil na nÓg will take place on Sat 23rd November in Leinster House in celebration of 100 years of democracy and the first sitting of the Dáil in 1919. It promises to be a special event. One of the objectives of Dáil na nÓg is to come up with a recommendation for the work-plan of the incoming National Executive.
We are doing things a little differently this year with three regional events taking place in September. At these events, Comhairle members will participate in workshops based on the topic which emerges as the top issue of importance to young people – the survey is still live and members can vote up to the 14th August 2019. Comhairle members will be tasked with coming up with a series of recommendations for the incoming National Executive based on this topic. Delegates of Dáil na nÓg 2019 will then have the opportunity to vote on the final recommendation which will go on to form the basis of the work of the incoming National Executive 2020-21
