Cyber-crime consultations: 27th and 28th April 2016
Ashling Hotel, Parkgate St, Dublin 8

This consultation is one of two consultations with young people from Comhairle na nÓg and other organisations on the theme of ‘cyber-crime’. The purpose of the consultation is to get the views of young people age 13 to 17 on their experience of on-line activity, and in particular their experience of cyber-crime. The consultations are being conducted by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) Participation Team in partnership with the Law Reform Commission, who are currently reviewing the law in Ireland on cyber-crime.

The views of the young people participating in this consultation will contribute to the Law Reform Commission’s review of the law in Ireland on cyber-crime affecting personal safety, privacy and cyber-bullying. There will be approx. 40 young people at the consultation day.  A max of 3 per Comhairle are invited to attend.
